SOURCE Process and Breathwork is a philosophy and embodied practice that works with the deepest layers of human experience — breath, birth & early life.

It rests on the understanding that how we arrive into life shapes how we breathe, think, and relate. The earliest experiences — in the womb, at birth, and just after — often live beneath words, quietly shaping patterns we carry forward.

Through conscious breathing, attentive guidance, and archetypal affirmations, SOURCE creates space for these early imprints to soften and reorganise, supporting regulation, choice, and connection.

SOURCE Process and Breathwork is a coherent method, philosophy, and branch of spiritual psychology developed by Binnie A. Dansby, an early pioneer in modern breathwork.

Practised internationally, SOURCE is held within a shared lineage and living community, and grounded in professional and ethical standards, including affiliation with the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance (GPBA).

One method, lived through three pathways.

SOURCE is practised internationally through three interconnected streams. Each meets a different season of life, held within the same lineage, philosophy, and practice.

Ecstatic Life

For self-development and lived transformation, through 1:1 work, groups, events, and immersive experiences.

Ecstatic Birth

For pregnancy, birth preparation, and early bonding. Support for mothers, children and families at the beginning of life.

Professional Path

For those called to carry the work forward through practitioner training, supervision, and advanced study.

“What makes Source Process and Breathwork remarkable and a fascinating phenomenon to study is its emphasis on birth and healing birth trauma.

The practice of Source Breathwork is not just a breathing technique and it is not just about personal healing and self development.

I believe it can also have a significant social influence.
